The most common dental problem is decay
Sealants can provide prevention from decay - the most common dental problem on most children’s and some adult’s back molars.

We can help prevent this by placing a flowable composite material known as a sealant onto the biting surface of teeth to protect them from getting a cavity.

Many times our teeth form grooves and pits during development, and these shapes promote plaque retention. If the plaque is not removed adequately, the tooth will start to decay in that area.

It has been shown that the earliest possible placement of sealants on teeth decreases the chances of cavities; significantly on almost all children’s molars, and some adults teeth.
