Our Services

We were one of the first practices in Pinellas County to install a CEREC - Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics - system. On learning about the advantages of CEREC Dr. Busch was swift to make this time and money saving facility available to his patients.

Single Visit Crowns

Dr. Busch was one of the first practices in Pinellas County to implement the cutting-edge CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) system. Utilizing this advanced, crown and bridge fabricating technology, we can provide porcelain crown restorations to our patients in a single visit! There are numerous advantages to this innovative technology, no messy impressions, no temporaries to worry about, no second appointment necessary, saving our patients time and money.

How does CEREC work?

After examining the tooth and determining the best course of treatment, Dr. Busch will prepare the tooth in order to make room for the new porcelain restoration. Upon completion of the tooth’s preparation, we will use the CEREC state-of-the-art digital 3D camera to create an optical impression, which replaces the physical impression required in traditional crown and bridge procedures. No more long waits while a tray of impression goop hardens in your mouth.

Using intuitive and precise controls, Dr. Busch then manipulates the three-dimensional digital image and verifies all aspects of restoration for accuracy and assurance of an ideal fit.

When Dr. Busch has approved the design of the restoration the specifications are sent to the integral milling machine to create the restoration. Within minutes, the all-ceramic, color-matched restoration to be ready for permanent placement.

The new restoration is then fitted, polished and bonded for permanence. The tooth is restored back to its natural form, function and beauty.

What advantages does CEREC offer?

  • The entire crown procedure can be performed in a single session, saving our patients time and money.
  • No messy dental impressions necessary and no temporary crowns to worry about staying in place.
  • The restoration is natural looking, because it is made of tooth-colored high-grade ceramic material, which is anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant.
  • The materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure, they expand and contract at the same rate, so your tooth does not crack.
  • The restoration is chemically bonded to your tooth, so Dr. Busch can save as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing you with

Dental Implants

Dental implants are a terrific, long-term solution to missing teeth. They provide more than just a cosmetic and functional solution; they supply the same stimulation to the jaw as natural teeth; the bone volume is maintained, and the jaws remain healthy. Dental Implants replace the missing teeth with a standalone replacement, which retains the integrity of natural teeth and provide the correct stimulation to maintain a healthy jawbone. They can even be used to support a full set of prosthetic teeth; either top, bottom or both sets; an entire mouth of perfect, non-removable teeth!

After extensive training, Dr. Busch is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is qualified and proficient in dental implant surgery. Utilizing the most modern technology, Dr. Busch can offer this remarkable solution from start to finish, right here in the comfort our office.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are freestanding artificial teeth roots made from exceptionally strong, lightweight, non-corrosive and biologically inert titanium. Titanium has the unique property of being able to form a strong natural bond with bone tissue; it does not corrode and does not provoke rejection.

The Procedure

The socket is cleared to remove any residual material such as broken root or old decay, thus creating a clean surgically prepared site for the titanium implant to be affixed into the jawbone. For cosmetic purposes a temporary bridge or crown is fitted.

In the following few months the implant will form a biological bond with the bone. When the bonding process is complete the temporary is removed and a permanent crown or bridge is fitted to the titanium implant. The new crown or bridge is made from exceedingly durable resin and ceramics that is colored and contoured to match your own teeth and will function just like natural teeth.

For a Lifetime

A titanium implant, once it has formed the biological bond with your jawbone, needs no additional, special care. The dental implant will appear and act just as a natural tooth. With proper daily care and attention - normal brushing, oral hygiene, and regular visits to your dentist for routine checkups, your new implants and associated crowns should last for many, many years; even a lifetime.

Jawbone Health

Missing teeth eliminate the important stimulation and pressures associated with eating and chewing that maintains bone volume in healthy jaws. In the absence of this stimulation the bone begins to waste away. Traditional teeth replacement options such as partials, dentures and bridges do not promote the health of your jawbone.

Many Advantages

Recapture your smile

No more gaps or loose teeth

Eat and speak normally

Completely restores bite functionality and articulate diction

Improved speech

Restores the natural balance between teeth, tongue and lips

Just like natural teeth

Dental implants biologically fuse with and are supported by the underlying jawbone so they cannot shift around to make you feel uncomfortable and self-conscious. They do not require special treatment, only proper brushing and flossing; just like your natural teeth!

Promotes Dental Stability

Over time, a missing tooth allows its nearby teeth to shift into the gap, which can cause a domino effect that will ultimately destabilizes the entire bite. A dental implant restores the equilibrium

Dentures & Partials

Dentures and partials are removable prosthetic devices that replace missing teeth. The process of replacing missing teeth can be quite dramatic and at the same time very rewarding. We love to improve smiles and being able to provide the best removable appliances. We enjoy taking the time to discuss each patient’s expectations, limitations, and the result we can achieve. Since each appliance is custom tailored to the patient’s specific needs, this treatment usually requires multiple visits to our office.

Sleep Apnea & Snoring - Sleep Apnea

is a serious, potentially life-threatening condition where air is unable to flow in or out of the airway for brief periods during sleep; many people don’t even realize they have it!

Symptoms may include headaches, lack of concentration during the day, and even low sex drive. Also, for the more than 18 million American sufferers, sleep apnea increases the risk of irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke.

Our goal is to offer patients, who are suffering with Sleep Apnea, and other night-time problems, a viable, less intrusive alterative to a lifetime of the annoying bedtime ritual of hooking up to a mask and a CPAP machine. Following a thorough in-office investigative examination to determine eligibility

Sleep Testing

In order to provide proper treatment, we need to know the specific issue; therefore, we offer an at-home sleep test. Following a thorough in-office investigative examination to determine eligibility, we can monitor our patient’s sleep patterns with the latest WatchPAT technology. WatchPAT is an FDA-approved portable sleep apnea diagnostic device. This at home sleep apnea test uniquely uses finger-based physiology and innovative technology to enable simple and accurate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) testing while avoiding the complexity and discomfort associated with traditional airflow-based systems. The detailed results that we obtain from the WatchPAT sleep study provide us with the necessary information to develop and prepare a dental sleep appliance specifically designed for each patient’s individual needs.

Additional Related Sleep Disruption Issues:

Snoring

can also cause sleep disruption. It is a common problem shared by a staggering 87 million Americans and is an annoyance to many others.

Bruxismis

the description for grinding and clenching your teeth. The force of the grinding or clenching causes pressure on the muscles, tissues and other structure surrounding the jaw. This can lead to jaw joint disorders, jaw pain and soreness, headaches, earaches, damaged teeth and other problems.

Migraines

affect 28 million Americans, one in every 4 U.S. households has a migraine sufferer! Bite-related migraines are often caused by clenching your teeth during sleep which puts tremendous strain on the muscles of the head, neck and face.
