Single Appointment Dental Care is here NOW!

Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist. On the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on. On the second visit you get another injection, have the temporary pried off - if it hasn't fallen off already - and have a permanent restoration fitted.

Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics - enables Dr. Busch to quickly and economically restore damaged teeth in a single visit. You do not need to wear a temporary and return for a second visit. It’s all done in a single appointment - start to finish.

How does CEREC work?

After examining the tooth and determining the best course of treatment, Dr. Busch will coat a thin layer of reflective powder to the damaged prepared tooth surface.

The CEREC state-of-the-art digital 3D camera creates an optical impression, which replaces the physical impression required in traditional procedures. No more long waits while a tray of impression goop hardens in your mouth.

Using intuitive and precise controls, Dr. Busch then manipulates the three-dimensional digital image and verifies all aspects of restoration for accuracy and assurance of an ideal fit.

When Dr. Busch has approved the restoration the specifications are sent to the integral milling machine to create the restoration. It takes only about 15 minutes for the all-ceramic, color-matched restoration to be ready for placement.

Your new restoration is then fitted, polished and bonded for permanence. Your tooth is restored back to its natural form, function and beauty.

What advantages does CEREC offer?

  • The whole procedure can be performed in a single session.
  • The restoration is natural looking, because it is made of tooth-colored high-grade ceramic material, which is anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant.
  • The materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure, they expand and contract at the same rate so your tooth does not crack.
  • The restoration is chemically bonded to your tooth, so Dr. Busch can save as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing you with a dental restoration that actually strengthens your tooth.
